Happy Saturday! THANK God it is the weekend. This semester is about to be really hard so I am soaking up all the free time I can get. Anyways, I have some exciting news, I am tatted!!!!! Yes, I finally did it. I have literately been talking about getting one for a while now but I could never find something that was perfect. & since it was going to be on my body forever it had to be perfect. I came across a tattoo on Pinterest and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was what I wanted. I didn’t even realize that Sadie Robertson was actually the one who got this tattoo first, it’s actually funny because the meaning behind our tattoos are very similar. So I have to offer her credits for first thinking of this.
For those that don’t know, anxiety/fear has always been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. This might come as a shock to a lot of you guys because I literally never talk about it. I don’t ever want people to feel sorry for me or feel like I am seeking attention by talking about it. Only a select few even know this about me. Even though I have a close relationship with God, it still followed me through school, relationships, and occasionally socially. I feel like being in college is such an exciting time but at the same time, the pressure to succeed and find your niche is even more important than ever before. It all came to a halt when I began to understand that I don’t want fear ruling my life anymore. See the really cool thing about God is that he has already conquered fear. Yeah, things in this world might be scary but God has already been there and will continue to be there. It’s not easy, and it takes time but you cannot let fear run your life. YOU have complete control over your thoughts, not the fear. That’s why I decided to get “Fearless” tattooed on my body because I never want fear to hold me back from anything anymore. I love the fact that at any time when I am feeling weak or like I cannot do something, I look at my arm and know that God is in control of my life. I refuse to live anything but fearless, and you should too.
On a lighter note, this outfit is one of my favorites right now! As mentioned in my last post, I love Gingham so very much! I feel like it’s perfect for Fall. So as you can see, some pictures I pair it with a light sweater perfect for Fall nights, or if it’s a little hotter where you are, tie it around your waist! What I really like about the sweater is that it can bet dressed up or down. I could easily throw it over a tee on the way to class or dress it up with jeans for a night out! Simple booties or tall boots are a perfect addition to this number. I hope you guys have fabulous week and have a great start to school!
